There are weekends that become part of your story forever; Zuza & Waldek’s celebration in beautiful late-spring Tuscany was definitely one of those.
Set amongst the rolling hills of central Italy, this three-day celebration embraced everything destination weddings do best: bringing your favourite people together, slowing time down, and creating space for moments that could never fit into a single afternoon. Less about rushing from one event to the next, more about la dolce vita—good fun, long tables, incredible wine, and conversations that linger well after the sun sets.
Day One | A Beautiful Beginning
The weekend began slowly with the legal ceremony—a meaningful, intimate moment shared with immediate family before the celebrations unfolded.
As the Tuscan sun softened into golden hour, guests made their way through rows of vineyards to discover a welcome dinner unlike any other. One long table stretched between the vines, layered with bold florals, playful details, colourful fabric, and an atmosphere that felt both effortless and impossibly chic.
Dinner celebrated the region in every sense. Local seasonal produce and flowing natural wine turned the evening into an authentic feast that encouraged guests to slow down and savour the moment.
Just when it felt the evening couldn’t become any more magical, the unmistakable voice of a tenor echoed across the space. Classic Italian songs drifted through the night air as guests joined in, glasses raised, laughter carrying between the vines. The couple came together for an impromptu dance in one of those moments that could only belong in this moment in time.
Day Two | The Wedding
Wedding mornings don’t always need to be busy.
Instead, the day unfolded slowly. Breakfast on the lawn. Open windows. The sound of laughter. Drinks shared with friends. A peaceful morning where getting ready felt just as memorable as everything still to come.
The ceremony took place on a manicured lawn overlooking the endless Tuscan hills. Nature provided the backdrop, requiring little more than thoughtfully designed florals that complemented the landscape rather than competed with it. Every glance seemed to disappear into groves, vineyards and rolling countryside stretching far beyond the horizon. Bold fabrics and colourful fans, beautifully curated outfits, and the couple’s son arriving on his miniature Vespa to deliver the rings wrapped it all into the neatest bow.
Following the ceremony, guests wandered into the open garden for cocktails beneath the trees and around the fountain. Welcomed by The Knights Club, who had already provided the soundtrack for the ceremony, the atmosphere was set: local twists on classic cocktails, negronis and sparkling wine flowed alongside carefully chosen local delicacies as music drifted through the gardens. There was no rush—just the luxury of time spent together.
As daylight slowly faded, everyone gathered for an intimate dinner beneath the trees and flowing breeze. The couple arrived in traditional Polish style, breaking bread and shooting vodka before sitting down at the romantic tablescape that balanced understated elegance with thoughtful details, allowing the setting to speak for itself. Candlelight danced across linen, heartfelt speeches filled the evening with emotion, and every course celebrated the incredible simplicity of Italian cuisine.
With the vodka free flowing and the dinner coming to an end, the mood transformed.
The formalities disappeared, the music grew louder, and the dancing became the centre of the celebration. Live music transformed dinner into an unforgettable party, keeping guests on their feet in the beautiful traditional brick courtyard for hours on end. Shoes were abandoned, glasses were refilled, and the evening evolved into exactly the kind of celebration people talk about for years afterwards.
Day Three | One Last Toast
But the best wedding weekends don’t end with the last dance.
Instead, they leave room for one final gathering—a chance to relive favourite moments before everyone returns home.
The final day was everything a Tuscan summer afternoon should be. A relaxed pool party filled with sunshine, cold drinks, wood-fired pizza and familiar conversations that picked up exactly where they had left off.
Guests floated between the pool, loungers and shaded tables, still wearing the glow of the night before. There were no schedules, no speeches and no expectations. Just laughter, sunshine and one last opportunity to celebrate together.
This was the goal all along: the feeling of having nowhere else to be, surrounded by your favourite people, in one of the world’s most beautiful places, with three unforgettable days that somehow felt both endless and over far too soon.
